I have a very small kitchen and need more storage space. I have thought about knocking down the wall that is between the kitchen and a bed room. If I do that I will need to add another bed room. So what do I do?

Is there enough room for an island or a peninsula? Another idea would be putting up one of those racks to hook pans on that hang from the ceiling.
Hi Paulette. I purchased a kitchen table that had storage on the base. I also would store bigger kitchen pots, pans, and appliances on shelf in the basement. Making the kitchen bigger would be nice. You will need to make sure that the wall is not a load bearing wall if you did decide to remove it. I am not sure how many bedrooms you have in your home. The only negative thing would be if you decided to move and sell your home. Making it have fewer bedrooms could make it hard to sell. I say if you will still have 3 bedrooms you should be just fine.
