What sort of space do you have?

If you have 36” wide wall space, find a narrow old “breakfront” or tall cupboard. Paint to make you smile. Lids in a drawer.

If you have more width than that on your wall, paint pegboard either your wall color or a fun color and hook on the pots and pans “artistically”. You can get longer pegs for the board so you can make some floating shelves as well.

Why not hang them? Attach a piece of pipe from the ceiling or under a cabinet put s-hooks on the pipe and hang em up!

Hi Skg, I'm not sure what kind of storage you're wanting; I have all my pots, pans, and skillets hanging over my island on wrought iron racks/rails. They are extremely handy when I'm cooking as they are hung separately and thus are quick and easy to take down. I put racks in my lower cupboard so each one of the lids has a place of its own and I keep them sorted by size with the smallest ones in the front of the racks. Good Luck.

I use a hanging pot holder. Initially I had one that hung from the ceiling. But it was then I realized my ceiling is only 7.5' and with the unit and then the pans hanging down I was hitting my head & shoulders. Eventually I discovered this unit. Works wonderfully and doesn't take up nearly as much room. It's from IKEA. I think shipping was $7.00 (???) for two. (Once I got this one up I realized 1) I didn't really need two, and 2) I didn't really have enough wall space for the second one, 3) It wasn't worth shipping back so it is still in the box in my garage.

I've recently added the slide out metal drawers inside my cabinets. That allowed me to utilize the back of the cabinet without having to drag out everything when I want something. You can stack them inside each other and use a lid organizer or use command hooks to place the lids on the inside of the doors.
