that just has enough space. The dinning room is part of the living room. The kitchen is no bigger then a walk in closet.

First, get rid of extra dishes, glasses, cookware and utensils that you absolutely don't need. You don't need more than 1 of each type - really! Same with kitchen towels, placemats, etc. Then, attack the pantry items. Store just the staples for cooking-- you don't have room for excess items. Try to store food/staples in containers that can be stacked - and pour things like pasta and cereal in them to get rid of the bulky packaging.

Also, collect baskets and bins that can store items and look good enough to use as decor on shelves and don't need to be in the pantry or cabinets to save room.

Finally, for each item you bring into the kitchen, get rid of at least one or more.

Baskets help a lot with organization. That way you can just pull out a basket instead of rummaging behind 18 other things.

Good ideas fiddledd. My kitchen/dining room/living room is also tiny. Then I noticed all the unused geography on my walls...hint hint..plus I moved the chest freezer into my bedroom. I store paper stuff in spare space on bathroom shelf.
