How do I hang a light on an open patio?
I have an open patio (no top cover). I bought a gorgeous star lights chandelier and can't figure out what I might use to hang in over the middle of the patio? I thought maybe a swing chair STAND but they're way too expensive. Any thoughts

First of all is the fixture an exterior rated and wired fixture? Can't just hang chandeliers open aired where water can get in. The only thing I can think of is to buy those large umbrellas that hangs over a seating area where the large post is off to one side. Maybe you can hang it there if made safe for exterior use.
Tricky one!
How about a patio umbrella base with a long pole and a bracket off to the side.

make one of these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8_j6QdRpzE fill the pipes/lower pieces with cement to increase weight so it won't tip & make base larger/with longer pipes. You could use PVC pipe filled with sand or cement for weight you'll need PVC pipe glue;PVC pipe is cheaper than metal pipe you can always spray paint
