better check to see if it's ok to block it, many meters are set up so the utility company drives by with meter readers that read them from a distance(over fences,across yards)you may get warning or fined
Check to see if you are allowed to conceal or hide them. Where I live, it is illegal - which I personally think is ridiculous as all my services are read by computer, not traveling meter readers like in days gone by.
