I read that you can use a glue gun. Hold strings lights against wall for 20 to 30 seconds to allow glue to dry over the wire. Run every 18 in or so. There are other methods and videos on line. I’m trying the hot glue this year.
Glue gun ...... do you know if it is styrofoam backed stucco? Solid stucco should be fine. But stucco is sometimes applied in a thin layer over a Styrofoam backing, and the temperature of the glue may cause melting of the Styrofoam. You can get an idea of whether your stucco has a Styrofoam backing by tapping lightly on the surface. https://www.wikihow.com/Hang-Christmas-Lights-on-Stucco This might be an option https://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Permanent-Outdoor-Mounting-4011-LONG/dp/B000BL5INM/ref=asc_df_B000BL5INM/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198084401736&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17344378979910785402&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030318&hvtargid=pla-320059297641&psc=1 Use it to secure small light clips then hang fairy lights from the clips they come in clear too https://www.amazon.com/Command-Light-Decorate-Damage-Free-17026-ES/dp/B0000CFMAH/ref=asc_df_B0000CFMAH/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167154836088&hvpos=1o3&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17344378979910785402&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030318&hvtargid=pla-273221919599&psc=1 I'm sure you can get these products at most hardware stores too but wanted to show you product pics.
