Container gardens are perfect for rooftops or small decks. Be creative...galvanized tubs are large and attractive if you use different sizes and shapes. Do not put directly on the roof surface..allow for drainage.Helpful Reply -

What kind of garden do you want? I am assuming you have a flat roof to work with. To start, you need to find out if the structure will suport the weight and drainage will need to be installed. I would call around or Google for contractors in your area to see if it is a viable option and what you would need to do to accomplish your goal. I think it is a way cool idea if safe for your structure. Have fun!Helpful Reply -

Before adding much earth/dirt, which weighs a lot, you may want to have a structural engineer look things over to confirm your roof can handle the additional load.Helpful Reply -
