10 ft windmill.
How can I decorate a landscape using a windmill (pic)?
I got this as a gift and would like to decorate a surrounding to make it look like one in the 1980s. I'll love to have some rocks or bricks, and plants. Maybe a small waterfall with an old water pump like this one. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!♡
Love this water pump

I’m sorry, what do 1980’s windmills look like? Did you mean 1880’s?
They were painted with a zinc-based silver paint, to keep them from rusting. Do you want to paint it? Probably not.
Maybe old buckets with flowers in them It should look like something that would have had lost its utility on the farm. Meaning you’d never fill your good stainless steel milking bucket with dirt for inedible flowers, lol.
I'm sorry to have you confused but yes😍 the way your grandparents lived is exactly the picture I want to project in my yard😊. Love old times living💓. Thanks!!
I think it would look good with a rustic lolking rock wall around with tulips every spring & Peonias to follow! I plant flowers so when one has bloomed & is done like daffodils & tulips another is ready to take it's place! They each have their time & cycle every year & keep coming back!! You couldd add some annuals if you like for color to fill in when there's a
Lapse with no blooming going in!!
Hi, You could find a Landscape designer and ask them to submit a pan and Planting Plan. or do what your grand parents might have done: Start in one area with a project and then go from there, until the space is covered.
