Add rocks and low maintenance/low water succulent plants...or install artificial turf if you prefer a greener look.
Lots of beautiful yards using rockscape with various types of cactus and hot weather plants tht don;t use a lot of water.
you might make a rock garden, or set out a few potted cactus , use potted plants and some garden decor you can buy or make yourself, look around at other Arizona yards you like to get more ideas
