there is no set way it it your preference.attached is a company that I used to buy from for a business....browse through what they offer for ideas. https://www.pavestone.com

  • Visit a stoneyard or landscaping supply. See what they have and ask lots of questions. See what you like that would enhance your property. I need to see things before I buy. And try different options to see what may look well together. Most of those places have people to help and offer suggestions. They want you to be happy and refer others, so do not be afraid to be chatty.

Garden paths look very “English Garden” when flagstone is used for a walkway. More modern looking would be using pavers. Beds surrounded by pebbles, colored stone, or bark would look great depending on the look you want to create. Good luck!

Hello Wardie862, I like the look of flagstone. The look of a flagstone path is timeless. It would certainly last longer than any other alternative. It may be a bit of work to lay it, but so worth the look. Good luck to you.

It is totally up to you what you want to use. Your choices will depend upon the look you are trying to achieve, the budget you have and how much diy you are wanting. Pretty much anything goes!

  • It's what ever you like. There are so many choices and color to choose from. I thought I knew what I wanted until I got yo the quarry and saw the variety. Of course, mine depended on my pocket being the ultimate choice maker :)

I use to have white stone, always looked dirty. I have tons of leaves that drop late summer and fall, up to the first lasting snowfall.

I would have to blow them off and use a shop vac to clean the the small pieces of leaves and dirt out of the stone. To much work to have to vacuum my garden path. For my birthday and mother’s day my son replaced them with pavers from Home Depot.
