How to stop raccoons from climbing onto my deck
I also faced a similar problem. Raccoons began to come to my mini garden and pull out flowers, break pots, trample everything. This made me really angry because I love my garden and spend a lot of time there. The thing that annoyed me the most was that they turned all my work into dust. Well, I tried my own methods to get rid of them: I set traps, a scarecrow, but nothing helped. They kept coming back and getting more aggressive. Then I decided to invite professionals to remove raccoons because I was tired of it. As it turned out later, this was a great solution.
Hi! Can you bring your plants in at night? They can be very destructive and I wouldn't want to try to trap or handle one myself. There is always risks with pests like this. I don't put garbage outside for example until the evening before pickup. Make the area as inhospitable as possible including lighting and anything else that is motion sensitive. Reach out to your local animal control or fish and game commission for advice. Good luck!
