DO rabbits eat Cucumbers?

I started growing Cucumbers and ready to transplant them next week, but concerned the rabbits will eat them (they ate my Tulips, flowers and leaves!)

Rabbits eat most new tender plants. They dovoured my radishes last year. I would definitely cover them until they are further along.

I broke down this year and put up chicken wire. My bunny looks pregnant. I love the bunnies except for them eating the green beans. Last year was the first time they bothered the beans.

Yes! They will eat almost anything that we find edible. You should try to bunny proof your garden and maybe set out a little something for them to eat away from your garden. That has help me out a lot.

Thank you Becky! Cool temps this week, then I think I am ready to transplant the cucumbers and tomatoes next week. (( Gives me a week to get that Chicken Wire. $8.27!! ))
