Does Fels Naptha work to keep deer away from my roses?

Is that Naptha a solvent? Call or visit your local nursery to get more information for your area and project. They will know best what works for you.

I wouldn't think so. Irish Spring shredded will. It's the scent. that drives them away.

You can also spray deer away but it is very pungent so spray down wind.

There are also other plants that should deter them like lavender.

Go to a hair salon or barber shop & pick up their cut hair. Lots of human scent on it, or local pet groomer for animal/cat or dog fur the deer will stay clear ; try a motion sensor sprinkler head; fels naptha alone-no needs mixed with repulsive stuff like garlic,onion then sprayed on area can kill/burn some plants,needs constantly reaaplied,smells awful;they do not like Rosemary or Lavender so 100% pure oil may help some, cheapest most effective is the hair from salon or groomer they just throw it away anyway.
