My go to is boiling water or vinegar. Works like a charm, quick, easy and almost free!
Sprinkle a little salt on the weeds then pour on mixture of fall water half vinegar. It should fizz down into the roots. the weeds growing in the cracks of my driveway have never come back in years. If necessary increase the amount of vinegar.
Pour the cheapest table salt you can buy at a grocery store between the patio blocks. It won't poison any child or animal, but NOTHING will grow in salted ground.
I use one cup of salt to one gallon of water and a cup of vinegar in a garden sprayer.
Boiling water poured over weeds kills them.
oops supposed to say hot water and vinegar..
Thank you everyone. I never would have thought of hot water or salt. I’ll try all of these just to make sure their gone for good.
You can use the sprayer. Saturate the weeds real well. The object is to get down to the root. Did it to the gravel walk on the side of my house. Lasted about three years.
Yes you can pour it on. As long as it's been dry and no rain for a few days they suck up the mixture and you'll see results in a few days.
