Hello ldeelz; I have the same issue!!! What I have personally tried is to use one of those plastic owls, that you hang from a branch.

Also, I have covered the tree in a lightweight netting, which has restricted them, somewhat!!!

I have picked the peaches before they are ripe, and I let them ripen on the counter.

I hope that this helps you!!! Take Care!

    • Very cute story! I have bunches of little lizards. Watching a lizard eat a strawberry is one of the funniest things in the world and it makes me happy that I grow stuff that keeps them well nourished. I do not mind losing a few berries to the darling little lizards.

  • Tis may not help you, but my neighbor and I just let them eat the birdseed and we put out roasted but unsalted peanuts for them. They get so stuffed from the peanuts, they leave most of our fruit and veggies alone for the most part. They do get some stuff but not as much.

They eat our pears also. If you have a dog, this mat scare them away. We have a squirrel chasing fur baby. If she is out, the squirrels stay away.
