  • Weeds in the garden are a pert of life. Put down landscape fabric, newspaper or cardboard then cover with mulch or rocks to keep the weeds to a minimum. I walk around my property and pluck weeds daily to keep work to a minimum. Not everyone is that lucky, but if you can, it does help.

Roundup has a new 360 spray that you only use once a year. I am getting ready to use it for the first time.

if you're talking LAWN weeds...? you can spot spray but if it's green and non-threatening... like stickers or brambles... leave it! I live rural and we usually have only small areas for "lawn" - the rest is garden or paths, gravel driveways etc. We over-seed our "grass" with clover - annual or perennial - it's beautiful - you can let it bloom or mow like grass.

any of the 360 sprays need to be applied to the SOIL below the offender. Be very careful you don't soak tree roots, etc. The sprays work well but you have to be watchful. They kill and nothing grows back for approx. a year (i.e. 360 days)

Roundup is the way to go. The only thing I have used that kills them to the roots. If you can spray on a semi yearly schedule it will really keep weeds at bay.

Also, if you neighbors have weeds, you will have weeds and you must keep your yard treated.
