Hi Lenny,
What armadillos doing that makes them pesky?
I say get live/humane traps catch them and remove to safer location they can survive/will be happy in so they do not return. Try to do so when they do not have babies they are feeding. CATCH & RELEASE to another location. Scout out a location where there's a great amount of excavation possibilities & bugs for them first, then catch & release them there. Set traps with tuna cans filled with worms or grubs & a little dirt where they will stay put in the cans & won't crawl out. The animals can still smell them & will investigate the traps food source.
