
How do I keep chipmunks from digging up my newly-planted flower bulbs?


In the fall of the year, I plant crocus, gladiola, and iris bulbs. But, the chipmunks seem to get to the bulbs before They can bloom on the spring. Any ways to protect the bulbs?

How can I keep the squirrels and chipmunks from digging up my plants?

I love the animals but also like my potted plants. Not all are disturbed. Is it the type of plant the disturb? Or just random?

I use a motion detector decoy (like an owl) that scares them. You can buy one at most home improvement stores and on-line.
