See my answer above, re: neighbor's cat feces in owner's yard.
The schools around us use metal black silhouettes of dogs to keep geese off of the fields.
My son lives on a lake. Ducks and geese love to come up in the yard. He has to put up push in fencing in the spring to keep them away. He is able to remove it late in the spring/early summer once the ducks/geese have settled in somewhere else and then in the fall has to put in back as the ducks and geese start to migrate. Occasionally there are visitors on the dock however! The owl doesn't seem to work so well, if at all. Another idea is to hang long plastic streamers and chimes on a push in fence post--this seems to work better than the owl.
Get rid of the ducks or move Home or cover the drive maybe? PS. Had you thought of putting up a notice saying "Ducks will be served for Lunch if found Fowling my Drive" This May Not stop the ducks if they can't read English, but will make folk smile when they read it and understand you have a problem you are looking to fix!
