Knock a nail into the top of each fence post, tie fishing line to each nail the length of the fence... The cats can't see it, and will loose balance once they jump up, and will fall back down.....

You may also kill the cat....... Fishing line works a treat, as they can't see it, but once they feel it, they will jump back down the side they jumped from.... You need to mount it 2-3 inches off the the top of the fence. So bang the nails in to the appropriate height.... Wrap the fishing line round each nail so you have a single length of line going from one post to the next........

A product called Shake Away is the best! It contains fox urine that cats can smell but humans can't. It is a granular product that is sprinkled around your plants. Google it and order on line.

Cats don't like the scent of peppermint or citrus. You can buy small bottles of essential oils in these scents, mix a bit with water and spray on the ground around your plants. You may have to re-do after a heavy rain but worth it. They also don't like ground egg shells when trying to dig, so save yours , nuke them for a minute, break up small and sprinkle around in your garden. If all that fails, you can buy a cat repelling substance in the pet store to spray around. Again, you may have to re apply after a heavy rain. If you don't have small children or pets in your yard, you can also sprinkle moth balls around the garden. That should repel them as well. Don't use this method if a child or dog has access as they may eat the mothballs and get sick.

My suggestion is to use Moth Balls, just lay them on the area, they hate this area. Also the flower of Mary Gold, they hate this too., and this one is so colorful, and you can save these seeds for next yr. Do NOT throw them away. Best wishes, J.

Hi, Google told me to put black or brown plastic forks in the ground area they like to come to. Or chicken put wire in the ground . I don't know for how long. It works--they don't like it. Not too unsightly either.

How to take water marks off of cherry wood table?

Plant several lemon scented plants in your garden or place these plants in pots around your area. I was told moth balls also, but I don't want any animal to o get sick because of them. Cats hate foil, so maybe line the garden edges for awhile until kitty gets the idea he's not welcome here.

Bare ground is the greatest lure, so get the ground covered, they'll move elsewhere

I have tried burying scraps into the ground - they don't like pooping near food! We have a bare yard at the moment & it seems to deter them & the scraps are turning into compost ready for a new lawn & garden!
