    Hi Colleen,

    If you're trying to make weed killer, you'd be better off to use regular table salt. Mix 4 parts vinegar with 1 part salt. and a few teaspoons of Dawn. Put it in a spray bottle. It's great on cracks in driveways and sidewalks, but don't use it in a garden. The salt can kill the soil unless you're VERY careful. I use vinegar with a teaspoon or so of Dawn for garden weeds and save the salt for weeds in cracks or that are isolated from the garden. Wishing you the best.
