Here's what I use, Judy: Take a spray bottle and cover the bottom with salt and fill it up with vinegar. Add a few drops of dish soap and shake. Spray on the weeds.
I use store brand 5% white vinegar. Buy it by the gallon. Pour in a spray bottle with about a table spoon of table sale and a squirt of dishwashing liquid. Shake well. On a hot day, spray on grass and weeds in between pavers and sidewalk cracks. In a few hours, you will see them dying. By the next day dead. They will disintegrate and disappear within a few days.
Bleach on the weeds or 1 qt of white vinegar 1/4 cup of salt and 4 squirts of dish soap put in a spray bottle and spray on weeds
