If the driveway is more ground than gravel, you need to consider redoing the drive. Remove what gravel is left and lay a barrier, sand and have the gravel brought in.
If it just seems to be one problem spot, remove the gravel, dig down and put in layer of barrier or even several layers of newspaper. Re-cover with gravel. Good luck.
If you mix salt, a little dish liquid and vinegar it should work okay. Try the full strength vinegar.
We had a 200 foot pea gravel driveway that was a nightmare to maintain.
Weeds and vegetation constantly popped up. Our options were to use round up vegetation killer or the weed dragon. Both worked but needed continued reapplication which seemed like 7-10 days.
We ended up putting in a concrete driveway to solve this issue and I’ve never been happier!
Weed dragons are a big hit to ignite fire pits too smiling. They come in different sizes and prices depending on individual need. Great for this gravel driveway weeding. If your weedy situation is too close to a flammable structure this weed burner wont be an option! Never burn poison ivy!

Use straight vinegar and drown the area. Needs of be reapplied after rain or when new growth sprouts. Or go for a more permanent solution.
White vinegar 5% and table salt, with a squirt of dishwashing liquid. Epsom salts actually fertilizes it! I use Epsom salts to fertilize tomatoes.
