What's most effective way to keep Cayotes from your pets yard?

Before you do anything about coyotes, contact your county as they probably have laws as to whether you can trap, shoot or do anything about them.

Then I'd make sure your yard is fenced !!

If you have a 4 strand wire fence, like in rural areas, rather than a coyote roller, just use PVC pipe, although they will crawl under it.

I'd use an electric fence, stringing one wire maybe 4 inches off the ground, the other on top of your fence. You can get electric chargers at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. Living on acreage in the country, that's what I did.

A .22. Kill or trap them. There is a bounty on Coyotes most places.

Mark your territory. Save a few days off first morning.. And Mark your territory. If the misses will let ya. Youll have to remark as we are not of K9 . Haha. try hair clippings. I know but it works. I dont suggest it but poops work too. They will be grossed out as I am writting and you reading this. As they leave turds in plain view for you... Pardon me.

Check the laws in your area. In some states you could get huge fines or worse if you kill wildlife.

Where I live people keep donkeys...coyotes wont mess with donkeys.
