Put salt into cracks.
I use vinegar and salt. Mix 3 cups of water and 1 1/2 cup of salt in a pan over night to help the salt liquidity. Next day stir the mixture until clear. Add vinegar and stir. Put in a spayer and soak them down. I always do this on a sunny day. May need to repeat in a few days. After weeds are dead, rmov and use once a month to control them. This is not toxic.
Boiling salt water. Really it works fantastic. I use a whole container of salt (ya know the round cardboard container with a metal pour spout) in a large pot of water, (think spaghetti pot). When it’s boiled I take it immediately to our driveway and pour onto the cracks. If I’m working on the garden walkway I pour it into a heavy duty watering can for more precise aim. The boiling water kills the top of the plant, the salt kills the roots and keeps others from taking hold. And as long as you don’t go crazy it doesn’t effect the grass or garden around it.
Spray with bleach mixed with water.
Boiling water and vinegar should do the trick- best of luck :)
