How to update old concrete walkway

We have an old home and the walkway to the door is old concrete that looks terrible.  How can you update it without having to re-pour?

You could paint your walkway with paint made especially for concrete. If you want to take it a step further, you could paint using a stencil. That would be more work but might be worth it.

If it is still all in good shape but just dingy looking, I suggest power washing then see what you think. I vote for staining as that just fades over time, whereas paint can eventually peel, even if sealed. Mother nature at work.

I'm guessing you have spalling, movement and heavy cracking. Honestly, sometimes you just have to start over because that kind of damage is usually caused by poor concrete mix, but especially by poor foundation prep before the pour. A little research will save a ton of heart ache. If it is less damaged, I know people do touch up work as a living.
