How to use pallet wood to cover the cinder block side of my stoop ?

I have a concrete stoop with 3 steps that lead to my yard. The exposed side is cinder block and ugly to look at. Can I cut pallet wood, stain it and attach it there with adhesive until I can replace the whole thing ? Any other ideas ?

You can, I just don't know how long the adhesive will last. Attaching it with masonry screws would be more secure.
If either the sides of the cinder blocking or the pieces of pallet wood are not level, it may be difficult to get the wood to stay adhered.

Build a frame out of furring strips that will hold the pallet wood pieces. You might have to borrow the right kind of drill if you don't have one to screw the frame into the cinder block. Attach the pallet pieces to the frame. You can also use lattice, which is very light and easy to adhere to the block with construction adhesive made for the outdoors.
Use a good exterior construction adhesive in a caulk tube. Masonry screws would work better

That sounds great. I would put it in a chevron pattern for extra interest. You can also paint the blocks.
Loctite makes a great construction adhesive in a caulking tube.

The easiest would be to paint the concrete. If you want to attach wood siding then you need concrete drill and anchor some wood nailer boards. Then nail siding to the nailers.
They make some pretty strong adhesive so I am sure it would work. I think the texture of pallet wood would look amazing. Show us pics if you decide to do it!
