What are some creative ways to change the concrete on my patio?

the area is where I have my outdoor table and chairs. Next to it is a smaller attached piece of concrete that is just outside the patio door. I have a bench and 2 chairs there

I believe this is determined by how much work you want to do. Concrete can be stained, or even painted You can cover with decking, or any number of paver materials, or simply buy a great patterned rug. Specific directions for any of these projects are available on Google and Pinterest if you type in “covering cement patio”.
I would paint it. They make concrete paint, and you could get creative and paint designs so it looks like carpet.

Don't get concrete paint! It will wear and peel off, believe me, I tried. Get Concrete STAIN. I get mine at HomeDepot, but I'm sure you can purchase it many such places.
