What can I use to cover the old concrete slab that was my back patio?
I have an older home. We placed a deck next to the concrete slab for some "outdoor space" ..we decided to cover all of the deck and slab with a rustic cover.we used sheet metal and treated lumber, Staind and treated to match the deck, added flower box to match...ECT,ECT you get the point. My issue now is the old slab is flaking away and looks really ugly. Idon't want to use rug(think maybe that was the cause to begin with). I would love to cover it with the same decking I used for deck and stain it to match.I have no idea how to do it since I only have about an inch between the hieght of the concrete and the backdoor threshold. Please help with some ideas to refinish concrete and make it fit in or how to make deck on top of it without breaking the bank. Thank you so much for your help.
