Can I paint a fiberglass garage door. What would be the process.

Hi Deb, It doesn't really matter if the fiberglass door is a garage door or an entrance door to the house, but either way you want to be careful with preparing the door for painting. I am posting a video about how to do this the correct way (and I would wear a mask too and maybe gloves because fiberglass is a true irritant and you want to protect yourself). It takes gel stain the best unless you use fine grit sandpaper to rough up the surface then you need to use latex primer them latex paint.

Do not sand the door if it is textured to look like wood, you will ruin it.

If you know the make of the door, they may have specific instructions.
