They make specific exterior paints that are good quality. I would go to your local hardware store (I go to Lowe's) and let them know what surface outside you are wanting to paint. They will let you know what type is best
It does depend what your Ponting but home depot sells different paint for out side for cement brick wood etc.
Hi Gina, many people prefer to use oil-base paint outdoors, but today they manufacture great acrylic paints that work outdoors as well. Check with your local home improvement store and tell them what you are painting outdoors and they'll be able to recommend the best product for the job. And, as always, prep work before hand makes good results.
Visit a stand alone paint store, like Sherwin Williams. They have trained professionals to guide you through this project. You will need to lightly sand the walls so any paint will adhere. Then wash so there is no dust and let dry thoroughly. Then you can paint. Choose your paint carefully, you want something easy to clean.
