Anyone try to re-rush ladder back chairs?

60 year old chairs in need of new rush--cannot find anyone to do it, so. . .

    This is a good video that shows you how. Many of the videos just show the ladder back chair AFTER it's all finished. You might want to look at those too.

    Used to be schools for the blind taught this as a job skill, so you might contact a local agency and see if they know of anyone who still does this.

    sometimes you can have it done at a Vo tech school in their carpentry department. Just call the college first and ask them if they take on projecto for individual. I know that they do automobiles but you have to pay for the parts.

    WE did this early in our marriage and it is not so difficult. Not as much as doing real caned seats. We taught ourselves. You need strong hands.
