Used to be schools for the blind taught this as a job skill, so you might contact a local agency and see if they know of anyone who still does this. -

sometimes you can have it done at a Vo tech school in their carpentry department. Just call the college first and ask them if they take on projecto for individual. I know that they do automobiles but you have to pay for the parts. -

WE did this early in our marriage and it is not so difficult. Not as much as doing real caned seats. We taught ourselves. You need strong hands.
