How can you remove wood screw covers to recover a chair?

    Use a thin blade putty knife. They should just pop off.

    Sometimes they are just hammered in and friction held. ometimes they are glued in. You can try to pry them out with a knife, drill them out. You may damage them trying to remove. They would need to be replaced.
