How do I recover a pouf (fabric foot stool)?

Bought 2 poufs for the living room thinking I was going to use one color scheme and completely changed it. Any way to cover a fabric pouf without actually sewing?

Hi Jeannette. You can place the fabric on the poof. Work your way around the stool tucking as you go. Staple those pleats in place. Glue a pretty trim in place to hide the staples.

You could cover it and then use staples to attach it underneath
Thank you! Mine is just a fabric pouf with no bottom or legs but this would be a great way to build one from scratch - which I may have to do!
Do you have pictures of the poufs? Maybe this sort of idea can work for the poufs: http://gratefullyvintage.com/waste-not-wednesday-1-2/
Hello Jeanette,
Buy Stretch Cover or use a stretch fabric. Secure underneath with staple gun. Trim to shape.
Hello again,
In that case, use Velcro to secure it! Good luck
