How do I remove the rockers from wooden chair?




I have a wooden rocking chair could I just remove the rockers and use it as a normal chair ?

Probably not. The rockers not only rock but add strength, support, and stability to the chair construction.

Yes, its done all the time but you need to know the chair will sit low.
Hi Kelli Thank you for your help , I have two of these chairs and they take up so much room with the rockers on I just hoped I might be able to remove the rockers at least from one .
Were you able to remove the rockers? I have a Boston Rocker I rocked my babiesand my grandbabies in....but it is so big, thelittles fall over the rocker part in the back all the time. Would lov to convert this beloved rocker to a regular chair....
