What is wrong with it?
Does it need painting?
Rub down to remove the chipped paint and possible rust with a wire brush. Then a fine wet and dry paper. Then use a metal paint like hammerite or Rustoleum. This comes in a tin or spray can.
Then just replace the slats. Dismantle and use them as a pattern for more planks.
I think yacht ply might be best but I'm not an expert on wood.
