I would like to paint my raised garden beds a cheerful color. Can anyone recommend a good non toxic exterior paint suitable for garden beds?

Choose paints with low to zero volatile organic compounds, fast drying and odorless paints. This will help curb leaching and chemical release to the soil.
You might head to the paint store or paint department at your local home improvement store to discuss with them exactly what you're looking to do. They'll point you in the right direction with their most appropriate paints.
Milk paint is a choice for your project, finish with a layer of hemp oil:

I would be careful with paint since really none of them are 100% food/ plant safe...and some of the "safer" paints aren't going to weather well. I would consult the pros and if you do paint, certainly only do the outside of the beds.
I think you would be better off to go with a stain and sealant. Check Olympic Elite.
You could likely use a food safe clear coat prior to painting the color on your garden beds. Check with your local paint store to be safe!
Milk paint could be a good choice! Non toxic. :)
Best choice would be Milk paint since it is good on both indoor and outdoor use. It is as well non-toxic and made from natural ingredients.
Water based paints contain no odour and volatile organic compounds whereas oil based components contain volatile organic compounds and strong unpleasant odours. It is therefore advisable to provide good ventilation when using oil based paints.
Look in DIY stores for Exterior Pants and Preservatives. In UK we have some called SHADES - Pretty Opaque colours.
I think it’s going to depend on what the issue is that you’re looking to clean, a stain or dirt, dusting it or efflorescence. More details will get you more specific answers.
Milk paint is becoming a popular choice for both indoor and outdoor use. The fact that it is non-toxic and made from natural ingredients (milk protein, lime and natural pigments), makes it the perfect choice for outdoor structures – especially those that surround edible crops
Hello, the popular consensus is milk paint, hope this helps you out,

I would use a natural chalky paint with no voc's like Fusion Mineral Paint.
