I’d suggest a stencil to make it look like patterned tile. There are some beautiful ones available.
Hi Ola! I can tell you how to paint linoleum flooring with Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint! :)
It is super easy to paint with Dixie Belle:
Step one: Clean with White Lightning
Step two: Sand with fine sandpaper
Step three: Paint one to two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint
Step four: Use Gator Hide for a water-resistant finish

These floors were concrete - but more inspiration for you floor. If starting on linoleum I would just use the XIM Bonding primer first - https://www.artisticpaintingstudio.com/?s=concrete+floor
