Hi Ken. Depending on the type of floor you have, you will likely have to prime it first. Most floorings will have a coating on them so will need a good quality primer before painting them. You will also want to seal it after. If you are working with a raw wood you can use just about any type of paint and get a beautiful look.

Ken try Zinsser's 3-2-1 primer, it's an American product and it's excellent, it will cover metal, wood, glass, formica etc, etc. I've used it for years and yet to fit anything it doesn't work on! Good luck 😊

  • Hi Ken! I can tell you how to paint tile floor with Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint! :)

It is super easy to paint with Dixie Belle:

Step one: Clean with White Lightning

Step two: Use Slick Stick so the paint will adhere to the slippery surface.

Step three: Paint one to two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint

Step four: Use Gator Hide for a water-resistant finish.

I'm attaching before and after photos so you can see the outcome.
