Using the Glue-Resist Technique With Stain

This is such a fabulous technique with so many possibilities! Anyone who works with wood and glue has done this - albeit by accident - and I've decided to use this to my advantage! Use glue (wood glue, regular white glue, or Mod Podge) on bare wood with a stencil to create a design, then stain over it... Fabulous!!

Now I just have to make up my mind... stencil? Freehand design? Mod Podge? Elmer’s? Excuse me. I’m gonna be a while. 😂 (Thanks for the great tip! I was going to just paint away with the stains and THIS is soooooo much easier!!! 🥰)
