What are some good craft ideas for a 16th birthday party?

Hi All,

My daughter's 16th birthday is coming up and I'm looking for ideas for a fun and unique craft to do with them. They all love to craft and look forward to what we make when they come over. It's great because it becomes their party favor too.

So a few things that might help... they plan to watch "Sixteen Candles" and have a sleepover and we're going to go see "Beauty and the Beast" because my daughter is a huge Emma Watson fan (comes from Harry Potter).

Ideas??? - and thank you in advance :)

I know someone recently who did a "Make your own soap" party. She bought the soap base and some individual molds, dyes, and scented oils. When they were done, they made a "wrapper" out of coffee filters (they were circular molds) and everyone got to take home their own "custom" bar of soap.

Young folks are very into their phones these days, as well as selfies, how about taking selfies, printing them then decorating simple picture frames & putting the pictures in them.

Happy Birthday!!! At my bridal shower, my friends set up a whole table full of little containers and recipes for making homemade spa- goodies. Like lip scrub made from sugar, foot cream, ect. It was a lot of fun and they can even test out their products at the party!!

Almost all teens like jewelry. They could make their own bracelets using the stretchy cord or memory wire. Beads can be any type, but many thrift stores and garage sales have jewelry fairly inexpensive that you can recycle beads from.

Well , my youngest son just turned 35 and he was completely board with another birthday, I put money in some of the balloons ones you could not see through, and in some other balloons i put a hint of what kind of prize he had won. Now to get to pop a balloon he had to answer a question correctly. Some of the inside balloon hints were, are you going to a pep rally ( dr. pepper, he loves the drink) i can read your thoughts, ( for a specific book) The stars are falling on the ground (StarBurst candie) crazy hints. when he popped a balloon with money, he went wild. Mom why couldn't you have done this when I was younger. Well John I did put a zippy bag filled with 40.00 in your birthday cake remember."

Good luck to your daughter, games never get old, it keeps you up to date on whom they like, what kind of friends they have and what they want to do when they get older.
