Used pictures intended for decopauge to make a bird wall art, using brown mailing paper glued to a rigid backing as the background. I used an exacto blade to cut around some sections, used double mounting tape to add 3D dimension. Will frame later as we broke the glass accidentally!

I love this! Did you do something to make the 3D parts stiff, or is the paper strong enough on it's own?
The bluebonnets are early this year due to the really mild winter--the warmest February on record. I have a son who moved to Olympia, WA last year, and I understand they are having one of the coldest ever. I grew up in Corpus Christi and we didn't have A/C until I was in high school, but that was not by choice! Summers were brutal! Oregon sounds lovely!
anybody who knows me, knows i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE birds! and, i love this! great job cutting everything out...it's a tedious job, but well worth it!
