Maytag dishwasher won’t come out

If you have the owner's manual still, take a look there on how to remove it. If not, call the manufacturer of your dw , have the make and model numbers in hand, they will have a hotline for troubleshooting problems. Best to you.

Here is what I found, try and see if it works for you. This is for a Maytag

To remove the dishwasher filter:

1. Turn the Upper Filter Assembly ¼ turn counterclockwise and lift out.
2. Grasp the Lower Filter in the circular opening, lift slightly, and pull forward to remove.

Have you tried calling them? They may have better ideas and tricks

did you unscrew you dishwasher for counter support ?

Isn't there a height adjustment on the feet? That would give you the clearance needed to pull it out but that won't help is there is another problem.

Or just open the door and look under counter. should be two screws holding tabs on dishwasher in under counter.

I would check on the Maytag website or call customer service.

Hi Lee Lee. If you know the make and model numbers of your dishwasher, you can go to You Tube for a step-by-step tutorial on how to remove the filter. They have tutorials on everything under the sun. I use it often.
