How can I fix or match a chipped corner glass table.

I have a coffee table that I want to keep. The corner of the glass table top chipped while I was removing it to clean. How can I DIY repair that if I don't have the part that broke of?

    A glass company might be able to polish it out.... take a digital picture and get a quote.

    A glass grinder might help. Could contact a stained glass store for ideas also. They may have a grinder large enough to smooth end for you.

    Take it to a Glass Shop and they will Fix it for you

    Try smoothing the edge with 5000 grit sandpaper, just so you don't cut yourself on the chipped corner . My husband is a professional glass man. He made that suggestion and also said to apologize--your table can't be fixed . You can take measurements and get the glass replaced or live with the chip.

      If it's an art piece, I'm afraid that it may have list some value already. Take it to a commercial glass company that also does small residential work. They are more likely to have a wider variety of equipment and experience to deal with your situation.

    Maybe framing the glass with wood or metal trim? Add a row of glass tile all around?
