How can I repair wood without sanding it?
Found this great little table (FREE) with removable 4 legs. Love the little design on side but the top needs work. I really don't want to sand it all down, I like the color that shows thru. So any ideas on fixing the scratches on top? Also I don't have a lot of extra money to spend, so any diy solutions would be great!

Use liquid sandpaper
Old English should work. If that doesn't work you can use gel stain of the same tone or darker with minimal prep. Minwax has instructions.

You might want to google it but I believe I saw on here that someone on here wiped down a piece of furniture with a mixture of 1/4 cup of either white or apple cider vinegar and 3/4 cup of oil, and it looked amazing after. You might want to give that a try before going through the work of stripping.
