You can try mayonnaise, rub it in with a soft cloth in circular motion. Sometimes that works. I like to use Old English furniture polish. It comes in dark or light and will usually cover any water stains. Rub it in using a circular motion. It is good for the wood. I clean all my furniture twice a year with it beside cover scratches and water marks. -

Try rubbing mayo on the stain in a circular motion and see if that helps. -

yes there are two different methods.,For inside rub plain white toothpaste in a circular motion with a micro-fiber cloth -

Spread a generous amount of petroleum jelly on the affected area and leave for several hours or overnight. Wipe clean. It might take a bit of wiping. Then polish as usual.
