How do I repair 'broken' vinyl siding at the peak of the roof?

During a recent storm, I had siding 'break' at the apex of the roof peak. It's just a little piece, but, it looks bad from a distance since it's white and the back of the insulation shows through. Thank you for letting me ask this question.

We lucked out. Same thing happen with us from storm. We had a friend that was having her house sided and my husband stopped by, asked the contractor that was doing it about buying a piece of siding since it was white also. He told him to measure for him for bend and cut...he did...went back and the man bent and cut for him...gave it to him and charged nothing. Wow....this is truly "paying it forward". How ironic! Blessings!
Get a small piece from a salvage store if you don't have ant left over. Cut it to fit and reinstall.
You can purchase vinyl siding repair kits that will make your repair invisible. There are so many different types and brands. Check this one out
