How to cover bottom half of a lanai screen to stop the dirt & rain?
How can I cover the bottom half of a lanai screen to stop the dirt and rain from blowing in? I live in a community where we are restricted with what we do to the exterior. The landscapers mow and weed wack the exterior mulched area blowing all kinds of dirt inside.

Can you install interior shutters?
Thin sheets of acrylic Plexiglas could be attached to the exterior. It would be almost invisible and probably only needs to be about a foot high to protect you from grass clippings
Thanks for suggestions. Not permitted to install anything to exterior per HOA. Have considered Florida Glass screening. Screen room is about 11 ft high with a 3 ft. base. Each section is about 10 ft wide. Shutters won’t work here. Thoughts were additional base aluminum coming up about 12 inches around perimeter or Florida Glass screening on the entire base. I am not happy with either option.
How about making some knee sock sand bags, if the screening is long enough, make a fold and put the sand bags inside

A "kickplate" seems to be a good solution: https://www.lanaiguys.com/blog/considerations-for-adding-a-kickplate-to-your-screened-in-patio
