I have lathe and plaster walls and ceilings at my mom's house. In most of the house, I have kept it, but I have a really good plaster guy to call when I need repairs. Plaster is an art in my opinion. In the bedrooms, I took them out. It is messy, but easier to clean and paint. So weigh your options - do you want to keep and maintain the historical value of the home, and will it be beneficial for resale? Or do you just want a clean fresh space? -
