How do I fix a faucet that is leaking underneath the sink and rotting the floor out

Is it leaking from the connections or the base? Is it a single or double? Is it loose on top?
It is leaking underneath I think from a connection. It is a single and the top is not loose but it has a small crack on the seam of the handle.
